Technical explanations
Please read carefully the following text
!!
1/ How does the application form file
work?
The
basic questionnaire is MANDATORY
for your registration to the EUROWARDS contest. It will take
10 to 15 minutes of your time to fill it in completely.
You
may send us your business plan using the atachment system.
Only Word, Excel, Powerpoint or Pdf format are accepted. Sending
your business plan is NOT MANDATORY,
however it could be taken into consideration by the selection
committee members and by potential investor.
2/ What confirmation message will I
receive?
When you send your answers, you will receive
by e mail a confirmation message.
This email message will also give you a user ID.
3/ What if I did not get any user ID
Probably you did not give a proper email
address. Be sure to give your usual, valid email address which
has the form: name@company.suffix (example: info@eurowards.org).
Spaces and accentuated characters are not valid inside email
addresses.
If you have lost your user ID or if you experience problems,
send your request.
Finaly,
The Application Form will help us to understand
your project, motivation and business spirit. This is why
we have chosen to concentrate on some important questions
which are applicable to the widest possible range of situations.
The space for answers is deliberately small. The members of
our Selection Committees are like investors, they judge on
the essential points! Your ability to communicate clearly
is an important guarantee of success.
Don't forget that if your project is selected you will have
the chance to present it to a Selection Committee. You will
be able to give all the details then if needed.
Questions must be translated in english
in order to allow the evaluation by the Selection Committee.
We recommend you to use the http://www.systranbox.com/systran/box
site for free, fast and reliable translations.
Two important pieces
of advice before you answer the questions:
- Be clear and precise. Avoid generalisations and technical
jargon. Members of the Selection Committees are not always
specialists in your discipline.
- Be convincing while being objective and careful.
There are no "good" or "bad" answers.
It is the consistency between your different answers and how
you adapt them to the nature of your project which will help
us form an idea on the quality of your application.
Good luck.
